Our online Auction

We currently have an online auction live via Facebook to continue our fundraising efforts for Crohn’s & Colitis UK and Bowel Cancer UK.

You may have noticed we have recently taken a break from fundraising following Cullompton Town Fayre and the many months of hard work. We have since been in contact with the charities regarding the donations, but the break was much needed for our health and the online auction was the next step.

Find the auction here.

We’re doing it via Facebook for a few reasons:

  • We don’t have to pay to list the items;
  • It’s one of the biggest social media platforms available;
  • It allows people to comment and share the content easier

We’re hoping people can get behind the auction and the charities. We’re finding a huge stigma still surrounds bowel disease and some people are reluctant to help because of the charities we’re supporting.

Bowel disease affects all ages, children, babies, adults, the elderly, bowel disease also affects both men and females. Being diagnosed with bowel disease is life changing, with no known cures known. Some make the brave decision to have bags which are attached via an opening within the digestive system, some go through numerous operations to remove part of the affected areas, whereas some suffer in silence not able to go to doctors during flare ups due to the stigma and the taboo that surrounds poo and the digestive system.
